Clairin Sajous Rum 2020

Clairin Sajous 2020 is distilled at the Chelo distillery from pure sugar cane juice. It is located in the village of Saint-Michel de l'Attalaye in the north of Haiti.

Cristalline sugarcane, a rare and ancient variety, is grown organically on a plantation of approximately 30 hectares. The sugarcane juice spontaneously ferments and is then double-distilled under the supervision of the distillery's founder, Michel Sajous, in a Pot Still heated over an open fire.

Finally, it was bottled without alcohol treatment, which means that it has a natural 55.2 % alcohol content. The rum comes in a beautiful gift box, on which you can see a drawn sugar cane orchard.
