Cihuatán Cinabrio is a fantastic 12-year-old rum inspired by Mayan legends. Cinabrio refers to the red color historically made from the mineral cinnabar (also known as cinabrio). It was considered a good divine sign.
The rum is aged 12 years in ex-bourbon American oak barrels. It is handcrafted in the Cihuatán valley, in the heart of El Salvador, from sugarcane seeds, through distillation, blending, to bottling. At the heart of every bottle of Cinabrio lies the Sleeping Woman, a Mayan goddess and guardian of the Cihuatan valley.
The rum comes in a beautiful colorful gift packaging along with two glasses. We recommend serving it neat at room temperature. To enhance the flavor and aroma, you can add one ice cube.
