... find out moreLautrec VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) is an extra luxurious 4-year-old premier cru cognac from the important French region of Grande Champagne. Packaged in an interesting wooden gift box for every lover of this noble drink.
The history of Lautrec cognacs began in 1838, when Paul Louis Seignette decided to combine his two greatest passions: cognac and horses. He was inspired by the strength and nobility of the best horse he ever owned, an exceptional Arabian thoroughbred horse of the Akhal-Téké breed named Lautrec. His effort was to create a cognac that would be as strong and noble as this legendary racehorse.
Today, Cognac Lautrec is patiently handcrafted using secret techniques in the same way as at the beginning of its creation. On the clay-limestone soil in the oceanic climate of the Grande Champagne region, the white grape variety ugni blanc is mainly grown for its production. After double copper still distillation, the resulting eaux-de-vie is transferred to dark cellars, where Lautrec VSOP cognac matures for 4 years in small French oak barrels, thanks to which the most delicate taste notes appear in it.
Lautrec brand cognacs stand out with a fresh floral scent, a kind of "masculine raw power" (just like the model in the form of the legendary Lautrec). And also a characteristic velvety taste, in which vanilla and a structured leather finish appear.
This cognac is recommended to be enjoyed neat as a digestif.

Later, its soft and delicate taste develops with hints of hazelnuts and peach jam. Velvet stability makes this cognac a very pleasant and easy drink.
