Rum Relicario Dominicano Superior is a truly noble and interesting drink. It matures by the soler method, which means that it is not a distillate of a certain age, but a mixture of individual distillates with different maturation lengths. They are matured in different barrels and then mixed. It is a sophisticated method that comes from Spain. It matures in ex-brandy and ex-sherry barrels. Ron Relicario is a mixture of rums aged 5, 8 and 12 years.
Ron Relicario is a rum with full flavor. Delicate tones of vanilla and fresh fruit tickle the nose. You will clearly feel on your tongue that it is a ripe and well-developed rum, slightly sweet with woody tones, vanilla and roasted almonds. The extravagant love of detail and the bottle with a heavy glass bottom also clearly show the power of Ron Relicario rum, an exclusive rum from the Dominican Republic.
The rum Dos Maderas PX 5+5 first rests for five years in the Caribbean, then another three in the Williams & Humbert distillery in casks that previously held Dos Cortados (Palo Cortado) sherry, and finally undergoes a third stage – 2 years of maturation in casks that once contained Don Guido (Pedro Ximénez) sherry. The result is an exceptional and truly premium rum.
Both Don Guido and Dos Cortados sherries were aged for 20 years, as certified by the oldest designation of origin in Spain – Jerez-Xérès-Sherry. The bottle comes in an elegant brown-black metal gift tube.
