Rum Dos Maderas PX 5+5 first rests for five years in the Caribbean, then another three at the Williams & Humbert distillery in barrels where sherry Dos Cortados (Palo Cortado) aged, and finally undergoes a third stage, 2 years of aging in barrels that previously held sherry Don Guido (Pedro Ximénez), resulting in an extraordinary and primarily premium rum.
Both Don Guido and Dos Cortados aged for 20 years, as confirmed by the oldest designation of origin in Spain Jerez-Xérs-Sherry. Prepare for an irresistible pleasant sweet-spicy flavor with notes of chocolate, nuts, and wood.
Rum is available in an extra large bottle with a volume of 3 liters.
