Cause Bumbu XO is an extra-old dark rum distilled from sugar cane molasses in Panama, where it matures to perfection under the tropical climate for 18 years. Aging takes place in old white ex-bourbon casks and later continues with final maturation in Andalusian ex-sherry casks.
The result is a mahogany-dark, soft, rich in flavour and complex, a very pleasantly balanced rum that can literally be drunk on its own. In it you will find notes of buttery caramel, tanned oak wood and vanilla, which go hand in hand with orange, black pepper and a hint of coffee.
Bumbu XO tastes great in all ways: neat or with an ice cube, same as mixed in traditional rum cocktails.
