Description
Bowmore 15 Year Old is a decently smoky single malt whisky from the Scottish island of Islay.
First, it matured for many years in bourbon casks and then in Oloroso sherry casks. And it was the last 3 years of aging in ex-Oloroso casks that gave this 15 year old Scotch an intense color and a robust, warm finish. The flavor profile is rich on raisin notes, accompanied by the light smokiness typical of Bowmore whisky and leading you to a delicious chocolate base.
Founded in 1779, Bowmore Distillery is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, located on the shores of Loch Indaal on the island of Islay. Bowmore whisky has an amazingly rich and complex taste.
The bottles were filled with 43% ABV and are elegantly packaged in a cardboard gift box.
