Bowmore

In 1766, David Simpson bought the island of Islay and founded the Bowmore distillery, the first mention of which dates back to 1779. It boasts the oldest whiskey maturation warehouse in the world, where Bowmore has been resting for 240 years. To this day, the distillery continues to pass on the traditions, skills and expertise that were created in the early days of Scotch whiskey.
