Description

The gift package of 7-year-old Bacoo rum and ceramic Tiki glass for cocktails will delight anyone who has a passion for delicious rum drinks.

This 7-year-old rum from Bacoo comes from the Dominican Republic. Aged in ex-bourbon oak barrels. It's rich and tropical, perfect for some dark rum cocktails, or mix it with a ginger beer.

On the nose, this rum is nicely rounded into sweet notes. The crystal-looking bottle and the nice mahogany-dark color of the rum is intriguing. When smelled, the alcohol doesn't break through into an unpleasant strength, rather the opposite. The initial taste is very smooth on the tongue and slides nicely down the throat. Gradually, as it mellows, it opens up to its already slightly greater strength, in which a slight woodiness and a medium and dry sharpness begin to emerge.

The bottles are filled at 40 % alcohol with a volume of 0,7 l.

Old Fashioned – a cocktail that has survived two centuries
The Old Fashioned is one of the oldest mixed drinks in the world and a symbol of elegance, minimalism, and timeless taste. In an era of complicated cocktails with lots of ingredients, it represents a return to basics:  high-quality whisky, sugar, bitters, and water. Nothing else. And yet it's perfect. How did the Old Fashioned come about? 1. Origin of the word "cocktail" In 1806, The Balance…
