Arran Port Cask Finish

This distinctive Scottish single malt whisky Arran Port Cask Finish comes from the Arran distillery on the Scottish Isle of Arran, operating since 1995. It first matures for approximately 8 years in traditional ex-bourbon casks to develop its core structure. It is then transferred for final maturation in port wine casks, sourced from Portugal. The resulting whisky is bottled without chill-filtration and with natural color, at a strength of 50% ABV.

The aroma carries notes of crème caramel, forest fruits (strawberries, raspberries), currants, vanilla and subtle spicy nuances (cinnamon, mint, sweet ingredients). On the palate, the whisky is creamy with layered flavors of fruit, ginger, black pepper, cocoa, and punch.

It is enjoyed by those who prefer neat and stronger Island whiskies — ideally at room temperature, or with a few drops of water to open up the aroma. Due to its richness, it is great on its own, but pairs excellently with dark chocolate, fruit desserts, or aged aromatic cheeses.
