Arran

The Arran distillery is located near the village of Lochranza and draws the water it uses to make it from Lake Loch to Davie. It is a young company founded by Chivas Brothers and Harold Currie in 1993.

Production began on August 17, 1995. A year later, they released their first "whisky," which was called as Arran 1 Year Old Spirit. Later, the distillery began to produce real whisky with a perfect taste and an extremely meticulous production process.

Several special limited editions have been added to the Arran line, which have matured in ex-wine, ex-bourbon or ex-sherry barrels.
