This remarkable lighter rum smells of vanilla, coffee, orange peel and molasses. The taste is slightly sweet with notes of caramel, vanilla and oak.

Appleton Estate Black River Casks is named after the Black River, which rises on the Appleton Estate and then travels a 33-mile route across the island, taking in several tributaries before emptying into the sea.

This river has played an important role in the history of Jamaican rum and sugar production. The Nassau Valley, where the river rises, is also the source of water for Appleton Estate rums.

The bottles are bottled at 43 % alcohol with a capacity of 0,7 l and are supplied in gift boxes.
