Admiral Rodney HMS Officer's Release N°2

As the second edition of the Officer's series, we have a limited edition of blended rum from the island of Saint Lucia. Admiral Rodney HMS Officer's Release N°2 is made from several molasses rums. It matured in American white oak barrels, ex-bourbon barrels and Irish ex-whiskey barrels. It was distilled in 2009. Only 5,000 bottles were produced!

It attracts with its light mahogany color with golden reflections, which come from maturing in barrels of Irish whiskey. The aroma reveals honey raisins, vanilla and oak. The taste is intense, initially dominated by sweet fruit, honey, chocolate, licorice and tobacco. The finish is pleasantly warm with a little spice.
