Try Caffé Vergnano 3 x 500g
Caffé Vergnano Anticabottega is a delicate and balanced coffee blend with medium intensity. Roasted using a slow and traditional medium roasting technique, it offers lightness and smoothness without excessive bitterness or acidity.
It has a delicate, sweet, and pleasant flavor, with subtle notes of chocolate, nuts, and caramel that are harmoniously intertwined – ideal even for more sensitive coffee drinkers. There are also hints of amaretto and traces of sweet fruit and almonds.
The blend consists mainly of Arabica from Latin America (90 – 92%) and Robusta from Africa and Asia (8 – 10%), which means the resulting flavor is smooth, but with a slightly full body and lower caffeine content – suitable for all day long.
This whole bean coffee is carefully packaged in a vacuum-sealed bag (500 g), which preserves the aroma and freshness until the moment of use. Thanks to the slow roasting, it produces a fine crema, ideal for espresso, but also works excellently in cappuccino or latte, where its sweetness and smoothness can be appreciated even under the milk foam.
Caffè Vergnano, the oldest Italian roastery founded in 1882 by Domenico Vergnano, is still owned by the Vergnano family, which continues the tradition of four generations – focused on quality and respect for the raw materials of Caffè Vergnano. The coffee is roasted and packaged in Santena (Piedmont, Italy), where the company operates a modern production line while maintaining a craft approach to bean selection and slow roasting.
Caffè Vergnano Espresso is a harmonious coffee medium roast blend that combines approximately 80 – 85% Arabica and 15 – 20% Robusta. This ratio creates a balanced coffee with a full body, a smooth creamy texture, and a medium caffeine content. The roasting is done in the traditional Italian way, ensuring a rich flavor without overwhelming bitterness and only a very mild acidity. The intensity of this coffee is rated at 7 out of 10, making it an ideal choice for everyday espresso.
The flavor profile is dominated by notes of chocolate, caramel, and subtle nuts, often complemented by hints of tobacco, cookies, and sometimes even fruity or spicy undertones. The coffee has a full body and creates a lasting and thick crema, typical of quality Italian espresso. It is excellent not only for preparing classic espresso but also for milk drinks like cappuccino, latte macchiato, or flat white – even under a layer of milk foam, it retains its characteristic flavor.
The coffee is packaged in a vacuum-sealed 500 g bag, which ensures freshness and aroma until the last bean. With proper storage in a cool and dry place, it maintains its quality for up to 24 months. Due to its versatile nature, it is suitable for espresso machines, moka pots, and automatic machines, appealing to anyone looking for classic Italian espresso with a subtle touch of elegance.
Caffè Vergnano Espresso comes from the Caffè Vergnano roastery, the oldest family-owned roastery in Italy, founded in 1882 in Chieri near Turin. The coffee is still roasted in the town of Santena in the Piedmont region using the traditional slow roasting method, where each origin of coffee beans is roasted separately to achieve maximum flavor balance. The production and packaging are handled directly by the Vergnano family business, which maintains full control over quality while collaborating with selected distributors worldwide.
Caffè Vergnano Granaroma is an exceptional blend for those who enjoy an intense yet balanced coffee with a rich aromatic profile. This dark roasted coffee combines high-quality Arabica beans from Central and South America with a stronger Robusta sourced from Africa and Asia. The result is a strong and harmonious coffee with a full body, pronounced flavor, and creamy consistency.
Flavor-wise, Granaroma delivers distinct notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, and sweet spices, complemented by a subtle hint of nuts and dried fruit, especially raisins. Thanks to the slow Italian roasting process, it retains a gentle sweetness and minimal acidity, without unpleasant bitterness. It is ideal for espresso lovers who appreciate a strong yet balanced cup with a lasting taste.
The coffee is packaged in a 500 g vacuum-sealed bag, ensuring freshness and aroma fullness until the last bean. It is suitable for preparation in both manual and automatic coffee machines, moka pots, or as a strong base for cappuccinos or lattes, where it maintains its uniqueness even under a layer of milk.
Caffè Vergnano Granaroma is a showcase of Italian coffee tradition, combining quality ingredients, careful roasting, and a sense of perfect flavor balance.
Caffè Vergnano boasts the title of the oldest Italian roastery – operating since 1882, founded by Domenico Vergnano in the town of Chieri near Turin, and for four generations, the family has demonstrated respect for tradition and quality.
Currently, the company is based in Santena (Piedmont), where it has two facilities: one dedicated to roasting and the other to the production of Comunicaffe International capsules. Roasting is done slowly, origin by origin – using a traditional method lasting 18 – 22 minutes, which ensures a balanced flavor and complete development of aromas.
Since then, the company has remained in the hands of the Vergnano family and continues to adhere to the values of quality, sustainability, and social responsibility. Exports operate in over 80 countries, including the concept of "Women in Coffee," which supports the status of women on coffee plantations.
