Description

A popular whiskey from the Glenlivet line, which matures in first-class barrels after oloroso sherry. The result is a full flavor and balanced aroma.

Aroma: rich and heavy fruity - spicy tones of dried fruit such as plums, cherries and fruit jellies. Behind them, traces of marzipan and a sticky black pelendrek appear, along with menthol and a hint of earthiness. As Alan Winchester admits, there is a hint of sulfur that is felt by the rubber edge but is balanced.

Taste : softer than you would expect, with woody and spicy tones at the beginning. Later, it acquires a sweeter hint of stewed apples, raisins, licorice, cinnamon and nutmeg, or dark chocolate.

Conclusion: juicy, traces of hot chocolate, raisins, mint and pine, with hints of apple peel and brown sugar.

What is it - Black Tot Day?
Black Tot Day: The demise of a centuries-old seafaring rum tradition Regardless of the weather, the height of summer brings one gloomy day full of reflection for some older members of the Royal Navy community. That day is July 31, known as "Black Tot Day." It was on this day in 1970 that the centuries-old tradition of issuing rum to sailors on British warships came to an end. On ships…
