Experience the pleasant clear Teremana Blanco Tequila Small Batch from the Jalisco mountains in Mexico with 40% alcohol content. It is made from 100% blue agave (Blue Weber), which gives it a delightful herbal flavor and aroma.
Teremana translates to spirit of the earth. From the care of the land from which the distillery workers harvest the agave, to the meticulous tequila-making process, to the people they work with and spend time with. Teremana means caring for what and who we love.
Tequila is produced in a small Mexican town nestled among the highest peaks of the Jalisco highlands, and every step of the tequila-making process is carefully executed to create a delicious tequila that truly honors the land from which it comes. The brand utilizes local businesses and practices, allowing them to create sustainable ultra-premium tequila.
They use 100% brick oven roasting to allow Teremana to highlight the bright citrus flavor of Mexican highland agave. This traditional process takes time. Before crushing, the agave is roasted for 3 days to extract the juice for fermentation. The remaining agave fibers are used for organic compost for agave fields.
After the fermentation process in open tanks, Teremana is distilled using handcrafted copper pot stills. These stills were made by a local craftsman right on the distillery premises. The character of the handcrafted copper distillation pots not only harks back to the times of traditional tequila-making processes but also produces a cleaner and smoother tequila.
