Tajna Sunset Traminer Red 2023

This white, semi-sweet wine from the Tramin red variety comes from the Sari vineyard of the Tajna winery, vintage 2023. Thanks to the achieved sugar content at harvest, the brightly coloured wine with a golden-yellow hue will delight you with intense floral aromas with a hint of rose petals right from the start.

The rich aromas are complemented by notes of grape skin and white pepper. On the tongue, the wine is also delicate thanks to the considerable residual sugar of 49,1 g.l - 1. The palate contains traces of butter pear with 6,7 g.l - 1 acidity, honey, liquorice and cinnamon. On the delicate finish, notes of pineapple and dried mango open up.

The tartness was harvested on September. The grapes were pressed after crushing and a short maceration in the press. After obtaining the must, it was statically destemmed and fermentation took place after fermentation with a pure yeast culture. Fermentation took place at 17 °C. After the fermentation was stopped, the wine was racked from the coarse lees, clarified and bottled.

We recommend serving at a temperature of 8 - 10 °C in slightly closed tulip chalices with a volume of 450 - 500 ml.

It goes well with goose breast stuffed with chestnut stuffing, served with braised red onions, pumpkin puree and buttered homemade louche; or with homemade buns with sweetened cottage cheese and grated apple.
