Singleton 15 Year Old
Pronunciation: {Singltn}Singleton 15 Year Old from Dufftown matures in a combination of European and American oak barrels. It is both a sweet and spicy whisky, which has character and great importance for the consumer. A sympathetic combination of the use of sherry barrels and barrels in which mature bourbon created a simple and at the same time exceptional whiskey.
The aroma is initially delicately sweet with notes of honey, baked fruit, dry malt and soft wood.
A smooth fruit profile develops on the palate: peach, apple, vanilla, accompanied by a delicate spicy note (e.g. white pepper) and the dryness of the barrels in the background. The finish is smooth, with hints of burnt wood, a creamy tone and a light sweetness that lingers.
Best served neat, at room temperature, in a Glencairn or tulip glass – a few drops of water can help open up the more delicate aromas.
