The second varietal slivovitz Rudolf Jelínek Vizovická Slivovice variety Čačanská rodná 2021. Exceptionally presented in one year as another highly rated varietal distillate, because the quantity of each prepared slivovitz was very limited due to the harvest of that year. Only 3 322 bottles of Čačanská rodná 2021 were bottled!

The Čačanská rodná variety is a sweet and sour plum with a very good taste. The ripe fruit has a high sugar content, which is why its spirits are among the best. It is abundantly represented in the Vizovice orchard, grown in the Nade Dvorem section.

The climate of the Wallachian region has favoured plums and their cultivation for centuries. Therefore, in 2003, the enthusiasts from the Jelínek distillery followed the orchard tradition and began planting their own plum orchards on the southern slope of the Vizovice valley, in the area known as Těchlov. Five years later, they harvested their first crop of Vizovice plums and started a new tradition - the production of a limited series of Vizovice slivovitz R. Jelínek.

The plums are always harvested one variety at a time and must be distilled in the same way. After at least one and a half years of ageing, one distillate is selected together with the members of the Friends of Jelínek Slivovitz and bottled as the annual limited Vizovice R. Jelínek Slivovitz.

Čačanská rodná vintage 2021 is a plum brandy with a distinct almond-bitter taste of pits, in the aftertaste you can smell plum rancidity with a hint of clove.

The bottles are filled at 50 % alcohol with a volume of 0,7 l. We recommend serving at room temperature to allow the aromas and flavours to develop fully.
