Ron Tepuy Destino

Ron Tepuy Destino is a premium Venezuelan dark rum, representing a more accessible, clearer, and harmoniously balanced version of the Ron Tepuy brand. The brand draws inspiration from the Venezuelan tabletop mountains Tepuy, which are among the oldest geological formations on Earth. Their majesty, height, and slow formation over time have become symbols of the brand's philosophy “The Height of Perfection.”

The rum is produced at the Destilería Unidas S.A. / DUSA, a family-owned Venezuelan distillery founded in 1959 in the heart of the sugarcane region. DUSA is one of the significant producers of Venezuelan rum and combines various distillation techniques, tropical aging, and a characteristic sherry cask finish for Ron Tepuy.

Destino is based on rums aged for up to 8 years in American oak. The subsequent finish in Amontillado sherry casks gives it a pleasant roundness, warmth, and a subtly nutty-woody character. Compared to the more robust Monumento, it feels lighter, more approachable, and smoother, yet still retains structure and the premium Venezuelan signature.

On the nose, there are notes of toasted oak, vanilla, cocoa, and sweet spices. The palate is warm, smooth, and harmonious, with tones of roasted nuts, oak, and gentle spices. Ron Tepuy Destino is ideal for sipping neat, with a larger ice cube, or in premium rum cocktails, where its round sherry character shines.
