Plantation Single Vintage Panama 2010
Plantation Single Vintage Panama 2010 is a rum from the new Terravera limited edition, which aims to showcase the very essence of rum's origin - terroir. A total of 6 different rums are planned. This time it is a rum from Panama, distilled in 2010. Master Blender and creator of Plantation rums Alexandre Gabriel chose the Don José Distillery for this piece.
According to the information obtained, only 22 barrels were produced, making it a truly limited collection. The rum is made from molasses, which is fermented for 2 days, followed by distillation in a continuous distillation apparatus - column still. Tropical aging in Panama takes place in ex-bourbon barrels for 8 years. The rum is then transported to Europe, where it undergoes continental aging in France for up to 5 years in ex-cognac Ferrand barrels, which is characteristic of the Plantation brand.
The rum is not colored or sweetened and is finally bottled at an alcohol content of 51.4%. The bottles are again presented in elaborate gift boxes that display the beautiful and colorful jungle of Panama. This piece truly stands out on any collector's shelf.
We recommend serving the rum at room temperature and allowing it to rest in the glass for 20-30 minutes before tasting, to fully develop all its aromas and flavors.
