Plantation Single Cask Fiji 2004
The limited rum Plantation Single Cask Fiji 2004 comes as the first of a new edition called Terravera. The material for the production of this rum is molasses made from local sugar cane. This is grown in mineral-rich volcanic soil and is therefore of very high quality.
The rum is a respectable 19 years old and was distilled with Column Still in 2004 at the Rum Co. Of Fiji. The rum was then aged for 17 years in ex-bourbon casks and then the rum was shipped to France where it was aged for an additional 2 years in ex-cognac Ferrand casks. Once again we encounter the double maturation process that is a typical hallmark of all Plantation rums.
The rum is bottled at 50.3 % alcohol, with no added sugar or colour. This way, you can enjoy the rum pure and with a true full-bodied flavour. It is a very intense rum in terms of flavour. The bottle comes in a beautiful colourful gift box. This is a really limited number of bottles and is a one-off. This rum is a collector's item.
