Plantation Single Cask El Salvador 2015

Plantation Single Cask El Salvador 2015 belongs to a special limited edition released for Slovakia. The bottle bears the national emblem of Slovakia and the inscription Special Edition Slovakia 2023. The rum was distilled in 2015 using the Colum Still method in El Savador, distillery Ingenio La Cabaña.

The rum has been matured several times, which is characteristic of the limited edition Single Cask. The vintage rums were first aged for 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels in the tropical climate of the country of origin - Barbados, then aged for 2 years in ex-cognac Ferrand French oak barrels. Finally, the rum was aged for 1 year in a Pineau des Charentes red wine cask.

The triple maturation adds an extra layer of flavours and aromas to the rums, signing for an impressive complexity. The production of this rum was handled by Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel, who always carefully selects the best barrels for aging.

The bottles have been foamed at 48,6 % alcohol, the volume is 0,7 l and the bottles come in beautiful gift boxes.
