Plantation Single Cask Australia 2009

Plantation Single Cask Australia 2009 is an exclusive Australian rum from Beenleigh Artisan Distillery, in which it was distilled using a Pot Still. It is made from premium molasses that has been fermented for up to 15 days.

A tropical 11-year aging in ex-bourbon casks gave it a fantastic slightly spicy flavor with notes of wood, nuts, oranges and blueberries. It was then transported to France, where it matured for 1 year in ex-cognac Ferrand barrels. Finally, it was finished in an ex-sherry Palo Cortado barrel, where it spent 4 months.

After maturation, it was poured into bottles with 45.4 % alcohol content and closed with a cork. It comes in a beautiful black and gold gift box. This is a Single Cask edition, which means very few were made!

Aroma: fruit, pears, grapefruit, pepper, cloves, cinnamon, anise
Taste: balanced, oak, sherry, chocolate, nuts, bananas, cherries
