Plantation Black Cask Double Aged
The excellent Caribbean rum Plantation Black Cask Double Aged is the result of a unique double aging process that gives the rum its great complexity, refinement, and subtly roasted notes.
It is made from premium molasses that was hand-harvested in Barbados and Peru. It was then transported to the distillery, where it fermented for 3 to 4 days. Distillation was carried out using Pot Still and Column Still.
The rum aged for approximately 1 to 3 years in 200-liter ex-bourbon barrels made of white oak. It was then transported to the southwest of France, where it matured for 1 year in small toasted oak barrels from Ferrand.
