Description
Grande Reserve is a very tasty refreshing molasses blended rum, produced by Plantation, originating from Barbados. It first aged for 1 to 3 years in ex-bourbon barrels in the hot Caribbean. It was then transported to France where it aged in oak Ferrand barrels for 1 year.
It is excellent enjoyed neat, but also works well in cocktails and long drinks. It was distilled using Column and Pot Still methods and fermented for more than 3 days. The rum is bottled in a 1 liter bottle.
Color: amber with brown reflections
Aroma: leather, caramel, cinnamon, coconut, vanilla, banana, caramel
Taste: slightly sweet, molasses, leather, orange peel, butter, spice
Finish: medium-long, sweet, spice, wood, fruit, vanilla
