Description
Mount Gay Black Barrel rum is a rich, complex, but at the same time smooth and taste-rounded rum from the Caribbean island of Barbados. It is based on a mixture of intense and aromatic rums, which have been distilled by traditional column, such as double retort distillation in copper kettles. These rums first matured in American whiskey barrels and then, after mixing, finally matured in intensely fire-burnt bourbon barrels.
Aroma : woody and buttery tones, which balances dried fruits and spices
Taste : strong and aromatic with tones of gingerbread, lychee and caramel
Conclusion : warm rum with a medium full body and a long finish
