Papalin Jamaica High Ester 5 Year Old

Papalin Jamaica High Ester 5 Year Old is a blend of rums created by Luca Gargano, CEO of the Italian house Velier. Following the success of his first Papalin in 2003, Gargano is launching a new collection of blends inspired by this legendary cuvée in 2021. This rum consists of three Jamaican rums, chosen for their character and aromatic richness.

Aged for 5 years, this Papalin offers a complex and powerful aromatic palette with a high ester content, characteristic of the great Jamaican rums. Its aromas are characterised by a perfectly matched combination of vanilla, citrus, spices and tropical fruits, with sugar cane playing the main role.

Papalin is a project dedicated to the blends created by Luca Gargano. The idea was born out of a desire to return to the history of rum at the end of the 19th century, when Jamaican merchants began creating blends without specifying which distilleries they came from.

The bottles are bottled at 47 % alcohol with a volume of 0,7 l and come in gift cartons.
