Old St. Croix XO Haakon

Old St. Croix XO Haakon is a premium Caribbean rum spirit that pays tribute to the historic heritage of the island of St. Croix and the long tradition of rum production in the region. The name Haakon refers to King Haakon VII of Norway, symbolically connecting Caribbean rum heritage with European history and trade relations.

This rum spirit is made from high-quality sugar cane molasses and then aged in oak casks, where it gradually develops its golden colour and complex flavour profile. Extended maturation allows a harmonious combination of sweet, fruity and woody notes to evolve, which are typical of high-quality Caribbean XO rums.

The aroma reveals pleasant notes of vanilla, caramel and dried fruit, complemented by subtle hints of oak and spice. The taste is full, smooth and well balanced, with notes of caramel, honey, dried fruit, gentle spice and apple. Gradually, hints of oak and sweet molasses emerge, adding depth and elegance to the rum.
