A.H. Riise Royal Danish Navy Strength is a naval rum crafted according to ancient tradition. This strong and distinctive rum is hand-blended in small batches from several generally up to 20-year-old distilled rums "Vedderburn and Plummer" - rum made from molasses through very slow fermentation. It is distilled in a traditional pot still and the result contains 55% alcohol, with no cold filtration and no caramel added. It is a strong version of the classic A.H. Riise Royal Danish Navy rum.
The absence of filtration gives this naval rum an exceptionally dark, almost black color with complex notes of coffee, anise, sweet licorice, burnt caramel molasses, spices, and cedar wood. A smooth, gentle, sweet, and perfectly balanced rum.
