A.H. Riise Royal Danish Navy Strength

AH Riise Royal Danish Navy Strength is a marine rum made according to an ancient tradition. This strong and distinctive rum is mixed by hand in small portions from several "Vedderburn and Plummer" distilled rums, generally up to 20 years old - molasses rum made by very slow fermentation. It is distilled in a traditional distillation kettle and the result contains 55 % alcohol, while it is no longer cold filtered and caramel is not added to it.

The absence of filtration gives this navy rum an extremely dark, almost black color with complex notes of coffee, anise, licorice, burnt caramel molasses, spice and cedar wood. Soft, delicate, sweet and perfectly balanced rum.
