The distillate passes through 6 differently shaped stills, which are separated by piping and distilled 2.81 times. This is what makes the flavor of the "Beast of Dufftown" particularly strong and well-structured. And where does the name come from? It was created as an ode to the smallest yet essential still named "the Wee Witchie," in which part of this whisky is distilled.
