Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial Rosé - original design
Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial Rosé is a rosé champagne. It was created with the intention of pairing it with ice cubes. It is a blend of 40-50% Pinot Noir, 30-40% Pinot Meunier, and 10-20% Chardonnay.
Additionally, 20-30% reserve wine is added. The reserve wine adds richness, intensity, and a more complex texture to the wine. Demi-sec ages in cellars for 18 months.
Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial Rosé has a bright pink color with golden hues. The aroma features a pronounced scent of red fruits (cherries, cranberries) and juicy fruits (figs) along with notes of grenadine.
On the palate, the wine is juicy, sweet, and firm. The sugar from the red fruits melts away. Moët & Chandon Ice Impérial Rosé is harmonious, fresh, and fruity. The freshness is part of the long finish of the rosé wine with a hint of grapefruit.
Moët & Chandon was founded in 1743 by French wine merchant Claude Moët in Épernay, located in the heart of the Champagne region in France. Claude Moët, coming from a family with a long tradition in the wine trade, quickly recognized the potential of sparkling wines from this region.
In 1971, Moët & Chandon merged with another luxury brand, Hennessy, and a year later with the fashion house Louis Vuitton, creating the conglomerate LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton), which is now one of the largest luxury goods companies in the world.
