Ruinart Rosé
Ruinart Rosé is a harmonious champagne that balances the aromatic freshness of Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims variety Chardonnay (45%) with the fruitiness of Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne variety Pinot Noir (43% vinified as white and 12% vinified as red).
The grapes are hand-picked. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature. It ages in cellars for 2 to 3 years. It contains approximately 8 g/l of sugar. Contains sulfites. The alcohol content is 12.5% vol.
Initial impressions reveal an intense aroma of tropical fruits such as pomegranate, lychee, and guava, complemented by floral essences of Damask rose and freshly picked red berries. Secondary aromas include warm spice notes like tonka bean and nutmeg.
The fresh character of this cuvée is combined with a refined structure and delicate roundness. An elegant finish brings notes of peppermint and pink grapefruit.
Resident chef Valérie Radou and cellar master Frédéric Panaïotis recommend pairing this champagne with fatty fish and shellfish. It is also suitable for pairing with cured meats and heartier types of meat, such as duck.
