Ruinart Rosé
Ruinart Rosé is a harmonious Champagne that balances the aromatic freshness of Chardonnay (45 %) from Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims with the fruitiness of Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne (43 % vinified as white wine and 12 % vinified as red wine).
The grapes are harvested by hand. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in the cellars for 2 to 3 years. The Champagne contains approximately 8 g/l of sugar, includes sulfites, and has an alcohol content of 12,5 % ABV.
Initial impressions reveal intense aromas of tropical fruits such as pomegranate, lychee, and guava, complemented by floral notes of Damask rose and freshly picked red berries. Secondary aromas include hints of warm spices, notably tonka bean and nutmeg.
The fresh character of this cuvée is combined with a refined structure and gentle roundness. An elegant finish delivers notes of peppermint and pink grapefruit.
Resident chef Valérie Radou and Cellar Master Frédéric Panaïotis recommend pairing this Champagne with fatty fish and shellfish. It is also well suited to cured meats and richer types of meat, such as duck.
