Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial in a box
Rosé Impérial is a spontaneous, radiant, and romantic expression of the style of Moët & Chandon, a style characterized by bright fruitiness, seductive flavor, and elegant maturity.
It is a blend of 40 - 50 % Pinot Noir, 30 - 40 % Pinot Meunier and 10 - 20 % Chardonnay.
The aroma of the wine is lively, intense, with scents of red fruit (wild strawberries, raspberries, cherries), floral nuances of roses, and a subtle hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is juicy, with persistent intensity of berry fruit (strawberries, raspberries, red currants), fleshiness and firmness of peaches, freshness, and a delicate note of menthol.
Moët & Chandon was founded in 1743 by French wine merchant Claude Moët in Épernay, located in the heart of the Champagne region of France. Claude Moët, coming from a family with a long tradition in the wine trade, quickly recognized the potential of sparkling wines from this region.
In 1971, Moët & Chandon merged with another luxury brand, Hennessy, and a year later with the fashion house Louis Vuitton, creating the conglomerate LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton), which is now one of the largest luxury goods companies in the world.
