Amber treasure Metaxa Orange is a new product from Greece. The idea to create this brandy came from Greek merchant and adventurer Spyros Metaxa, who infused the recipe for this unique brandy with the entire Greek soul. The drink began to be exported from the distillery in Athens throughout Greece, and of course, it gradually reached the whole world. It has been 130 years since the inception of Metaxa.
On the island of Samos, the muscat wines that form the base of Metaxa originate. The seemingly weak vines with roots extending up to 30 meters produce sweet grapes that are harvested exclusively by hand. It also contains aged wine distillates that mature for up to 5 years in oak barrels.
This base is complemented by natural extracts from delicious oranges, ripening in the Mediterranean Greek sun. The alcohol content is 38 %. We recommend serving the drink with a cube of ice or in a mixed drink.
