Description
Metaxa 7* is a world-famous Greek brandy made from herbs and muscat wine. It has a uniquely smooth and slightly sweet taste with a hint of vanilla. This brand was created by Spyros Metaxa in 1888.
Metaxa brandy is made according to a traditional recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation for over 100 years! The base is sun-dried grapes of three varieties, which were distilled and then aged for 6 years and 6 months in oak Limousin barrels.
After aging, it was blended with vintage muscat wines and a strictly secret mix of Greek herbs, which gave it a fantastic exotic touch. Finally, it aged for another 6 months, which softened its taste.
