Description
Metaxa 7* is a world-famous Greek brandy made from plants and Muscat wine. It has a uniquely delicate and slightly sweet taste with a touch of vanilla. This brand was created by Spyros Metaxa in 1888.
Brandy Metaxa is made according to a traditional recipe that has been handed down from generation to generation for more than 100 years! The basis is sun-dried grapes of three varieties, which were distilled and then stored for 6 years and 6 months in oak Limousin barrels.
After aging, it was blended with archival muscat wines and a top-secret mix of Greek herbs, which gave it a fantastic exotic touch. At the end, it matured for another 6 months, which softened its taste.

Black Tot Day: The demise of a centuries-old seafaring rum tradition
Regardless of the weather, the height of summer brings one gloomy day full of reflection for some older members of the Royal Navy community. That day is July 31, known as "Black Tot Day."
