Malecon Rare Proof 2002 is a premium Panamanian rum that aged for a long 17 years in a tropical climate. It was distilled in 2002 and then matured in oak barrels, which imparted an irresistible flavor of almonds, cookies, bananas, and fruit.
The entire aging process was overseen by Cuban Master Distiller Francisco Fernandez. The higher 51.2% alcohol content gives this rum a more intense and spicier character. We recommend serving it neat after dinner with a cube of ice.
This rum comes from the limited edition Rare Proof. It is presented in an exclusive wooden gift box, which will stand out in your collection!
