Malecon Reserva Imperial 18 Year Old Rum is a very dark and complex rum that comes from Central Panama. This impressive rum ages for at least 18 years in heavy oak barrels, where it develops its unique flavor.
The color of the rum resembles very dark amber, with sparkle and shine. The Malecon Reserva Imperial bottle radiates something unusual compared to other alcohol bottles, and for this reason, it should not be hidden behind a closed bar.
The aroma of the rum is very impressive, intense and sweet. Soft yet strong and very well perceived on the palate – this is the essence of the Malecon rum flavor.
The taste is fruity, hinting at the flavors of many types of fruit that cannot be defined in detail but harmoniously blend together. At the same time, the delicate and mild notes of vanilla and oak bring something special to the rum, yet typical.
