Malecon Rare Proof 2009 is a premium Panamanian rum from the Rare Proof edition, aged for 13 years in a tropical climate. It is made from high-quality sugar cane sourced from fields around the distillery.
Aged 13 years in oak barrels, it has developed a pleasant tobacco flavor with notes of orange, cinnamon, and butter. In the end, it was bottled with a high 50.5% alcohol content. It was distilled in 2009.
Rum Malecon, driven by the passion and vision of two visionaries with exceptional taste, is named after the legendary street in downtown Havana, where the recipe originates.
It begins with the selection of the finest Panamanian sugar cane, fermentation, and aging in oak barrels for ten, twelve, eighteen, and twenty-five years. This process cannot be rushed; it must not be hurried. The result over time: a multitude of sensations, tones, and remarkable sophistication.
We recommend serving at room temperature or with a cube of ice. The rum comes in an exclusive wooden gift box, which will stand out in your collection!
