Description
Blend the peat malts of Islay and Speyside along with GlenAllachie. The mixture matures without specifying the time in a four-barrel combination, under the scrutiny of the master distiller, Billy Walker. The barrels used are: once filled bourbon barrels, sherry Oloroso barrels, new virgin barrels and red wine barrels. This small batch of Scotch is bottled at 46%, without cold filtration, which retains its full flavor and aroma. The cover is inspired by Harvey founder MacNair. He was a Victorian gentleman, bon vivant a raconteur. Scotch whiskey awarded by world critics.
Color: rich gold.
Aroma: peat, barley sugar and dark chocolate.
Taste: whole-body peat, vanilla, barley sugar, tannins, swamp and sweet pepper.
