MacNair’s Lum Reek 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 3

The MacNair’s Batch 3 edition from the 10-year-old Lum Reek range is a combination of carefully selected single malt whiskies from Speyside and Islay, blended by master blender Billy Walker.

Its distinctive profile is shaped by maturation in a mix of Spanish sherry casks, wine barrique casks and virgin oak.

On the nose, waves of caramel, chocolate-coated raisins and caramelised brown sugar dominate, accompanied by hints of grated ginger, cigar box and toasted cinnamon sticks.

The palate is intense: coffee and ginger, mocha, cinnamon, grilled honeycomb, followed by smoky spice, butterscotch and orange peel.
