MacNair's Exploration Jamaica Unpeated is an exceptionally outstanding Jamaican blended rum, crafted under the supervision of Master Distiller/Blender Billy Walker from The GlenAllachie distillery.
The rum was distilled at Clarendon Distillery, then transported to Scotland, where it matured in cooler climatic conditions. After a 30-month rest in American and French ex-rye, ex-Rioja wine, and virgin oak casks, the individually aged rums with high, medium, and low ester levels were blended.
Finally, the rum was bottled at 46% alcohol content in unconventional yet beautiful bottles, which are presented in gift packaging.
Color: amber with light golden reflections
Aroma: tropical fruit, pineapple, bananas, vanilla
Taste: pineapple, honey, bananas, citrus, oil, cloves
Finish: long, spice, pastry, oak, fruit, cinnamon
