12-Year-Old Scottish Caisteal Chamuis is a distinctive Blended Malt whisky made from a blend of several Scottish Single Malts that have matured for 12 years in American oak Hogshead casks and ex-sherry Oloroso casks. It is a heavily peated maritime whisky with a smoky-peaty flavor.
No coloring is added and it is also not chill-filtered. After pouring into a glass, we recommend letting it rest for 5 minutes, allowing it to develop its flavor and aroma. The bottle comes in an extravagant and eye-catching blue-white-gold gift packaging.
Color: amber with orange highlights
Aroma: smoke, peat, spice, red fruit
Taste: oak, spice, smoke, peat, slightly sweet
Finish: strong, long, slightly sharp
