MacNair's Lum Reek 12 Year Old Peated

MacNair's Lum Reek Peated is a silky but mostly complex Scotch blended malt whisky. It is made from a combination of Islay and Speyside single malt peat as well as non-peat whisky. The recipe was created by Master Distiller, Blender of the Year and whisky veteran Billy Walker, who added matured GlenAllachie whisky to the blend.

The mixture was then transferred to the cellars of the GlenAllachie distillery. She matured there for 12 years in first-filled ex-bourbon, ex-sherry Pedro Ximénez and ex-wine barrels until she reached perfect balance. Subsequently, the whisky was filled into bottles with 46 % alcohol content and without added dyes and cold filtration. Since 2019, she has won several world-renowned awards and medals.

The bottle is located in a white-gold gift tube.

Color: bronze with orange-gold highlights
Aroma: sweet, peat, butter, caramel, nuts, vanilla, coffee, smoke
Taste: honey, caramel, spices, peat, fruit, oil, butter, pears
Finish: long, pepper, peat, menthol, nuts, smoke
