MacNair's Lum Reek 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 1

MacNair's Lum Reek Cask Strength Batch 1 is an excellent 10-year-old Scotch blended malt whisky from the first batch. It is a stunning combination of the best Speyside and Islay single malt whiskeis, including the mature GlenAllachie. This combination created a finely peat mixture, which is rich but most importantly perfectly balanced.

But that's not all. The mixture is still waiting for 10 years in different types of barrels. The first maturation takes place in premium ex-sherry Spanish barrels. It is then filled into ex-wine barrels and finally into virgin oak barrels in the cellars of the GlenAllachie distillery. Thanks to these barrels, whiskey acquired the unmistakable taste of wood together with sweet but slightly smoky tones.

Subsequently, the matured whiskey is filled into bottles with a natural alcohol content of 55.4 %. It has no added dyes and cold filtration. The bottle is contained in a red-gold gift tube.
