MacNair's Lum Reek 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 1

MacNair's Lum Reek Cask Strength Batch 1 is an excellent 10-year-old Scottish blended malt whisky from the first batch. It is an astonishing combination of the finest Speyside and Islay single malt whiskies, including the mature GlenAllachie. This blend has created a subtly peaty mixture that is rich yet perfectly balanced.

But that's not all. The blend undergoes a 10-year maturation in various types of casks. The initial maturation takes place in premium ex-sherry Spanish casks. It is then filled into ex-wine barrique casks and finally into virgin oak casks in the cellars of the GlenAllachie distillery. Thanks to these casks, the whisky has acquired an unmistakable wood flavor along with sweet yet subtly smoky notes.

The matured whisky is then bottled at a natural 55.4 % alcohol content. It is without added colorings and chill filtration. The bottle comes in a red-gold gift tube.
