Le Contesse Pinot Nero Spumante Brut 1,5l
Choose the right glasses for prosecco or champagne and enjoy them the way they should be.
Le Contesse Pinot Nero Spumante Brut is an Italian dry white sparkling wine. It is made from 100% hand-picked Pinot Noir (Rulandské modré) grapes, carefully selected from the best vineyards located near the Congeliano mountain range, in the Treviso wine region, Italy (elevation 40 m above sea level). The wine is the result of a sparkling process called "Long Charmat."
After hand-picking, the grapes undergo only light pressing and cold static decantation of the must. Part of the must is then stored in cool conditions while the rest of the blend ferments at a controlled temperature. The second fermentation takes place in pressurized tanks with selected yeasts, during which it ages and develops its effervescence for an additional 9-12 months. After this step, the wine is bottled and left in temperature-controlled storage to age for a few more weeks.
Color: light golden reflections obtained from long aging with yeast
Aroma: bread crust and ripe fruit with a pleasantly fresh touch
Taste: uniquely complex notes of red fruit, full body
Harvest time: late August, early September
Serve chilled at a temperature of 7 - 9°C.
This Italian wine is excellent as an aperitif and pairs well with fish dishes, rice, pasta, and creamy cheese.
