14th Edition 100% Islay Whisky from the Kilchoman distillery. Harvested in 2013 and 2014, it was distilled and matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Lightly peated from the farm distillery on the Isle of Islay.
When the Kilchoman distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish Isle of Islay in 124 years. Kilchoman places a significant emphasis on locality and craftsmanship.
The barley used in production is partially grown near the distillery and dried on its own malting floors. The single malt whisky from this distillery delights fans of peated whisky around the world, meaning Kilchoman is gradually expanding.
Kilchoman 100% Islay 14th Edition 2024 has matured for 9 years. It is bottled at a strong 50% alcohol by volume, with no coloring and no chill filtration.
