Description
Johnnie Walker The Red Label was first introduced in this form by brothers George and Alexander Walker in 1909, although it had existed as a Walker's Special Old Highland Red Label a few years before. Alexander mixed a type of whiskey that is more suitable for blending with soda than heavier and older whiskeys, and named it after his grandfather, who founded the family business in 1820. Today, it is the most popular whiskey in the world and is sold in more than 200 countries.
