Grant's Triple Wood
Grant's has long been known as a quality producer of good blended Scotch whiskeys, and this original Grant's will show you why. Silky smooth with a smoky finish. It will delight every level of Scotch whiskey consumers.
Grant’s Triple Wood (formerly known as Family Reserve) gains its unique character from aging in three different types of casks – ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and new American oak barrels. Each type of cask contributes a distinct layer to the blend: Bourbon casks bring gentle sweetness and vanilla notes, sherry casks add rich fruity and spicy tones, while new oak provides warmth and a soft hint of smoke.
The whisky is crafted from several carefully selected single malt and grain whiskies from across Scotland, resulting in a harmonious, elegant, and multi-dimensional profile.
On the nose, it’s rich, sweet, and full-bodied – with notes of vanilla, caramel, golden honey, and dried fruit, complemented by subtle woody and spicy undertones.
The taste is smooth, creamy, and balanced, featuring vanilla, honey, pear, caramel, and light oak. Hints of cinnamon, nuts, and sherry sweetness unfold in the background. The finish is medium-long, warm, and harmonious with lingering tones of vanilla, spice, and oak.
Grant’s Triple Wood is best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as a base for classic whisky cocktails such as the Old Fashioned or Whisky Sour.
